Terrain for all levels (but…) 

The Lyngen Alps offer skiing for every skill level, from beginners (meaning you can ski off-pist and have ski toured before) to hard chargers. However, I recommend a good physique since the mountains here is big and there is not a single lift! Previous ski touring experience (and good knowledge of your gear!) is highly recommended for a pleasant visit.  If you tick the boxes you can enjoy everything from big mountain faces, steep couloirs or cruisy flanks towards the ocean. 

Local expertise

With many years of ski touring in these mountains I can find the hidden gems and adapt the objectives suitable for your skill levels and the conditions in the mountains. Both the Northern island or the southern island has superb alternatives, and I´m happy to guide you on both places.  The nearby Tamok Valley is a good option and again a beautiful place for ski touring (not with the ocean as a backdrop, but with magnificent terrain).
